Position Overview
We are looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer who will serve as gatekeepers of all Product and Feature releases. You’ll be working with the Quality Assurance Team to make sure that proper test coverage is included in all projects. You’ll be expected to break things before they’re released so that our customer experience is exceptional. You are the final sign-off before any code hits production.


Responsibilities:

  • Be the expert of the Product and all of its features. Understand how it behaves and all of its quirks.
  • Identify deficiencies and propose solutions. Be the champion in getting resolutions for common issues and bugs to achieve better customer experience.
  • Plan, create, and execute test plans for various projects. 
  • Triage bugs/issues, and identify priorities based on severity and impact.
  • Build and implement the KPIs on product quality.
  • Key stakeholder in Engineering’s release planning. You’re expected to be very passionate in ensuring we’re providing a world class product to our customers.


Preferred Qualifications & Characteristics:

  • 3+ years as a QA Engineer.
  • Strong knowledge of test automation frameworks.
  • Experience in Agile methodologies. 
  • Background working with  enterprise level applications.
  • Previous experience in RSpec and Ruby on Rails is preferred.
  • Tertiary qualification desirable
